About Me

Communication Major. Event Management Minor. Wife of 16 years. Military Spouse of 16 years. Mama of 12 years to 4 tiny humans. 9 PCS’s. 12 houses turned into homes. 6 States. 2 Continents.

I’ve been riding the military journey with my husband for quite some time now. I worked full time as an Event Planner for the first five years of our marriage and loved it! I traveled to lots of amazing places, worked with some truly incredible people, and grew as a person and a professional. God’s timing is always perfect, and just as my husband got orders to Japan (for our first tour overseas), I found out I was pregnant with our first baby girl. So, I quit my job, had a baby and moved to the land of the rising sun with a two-month-old (by myself btw- but that’s a story for another time). Since then, 10 years and 3 babies later, I’ve fulfilled my dream of being a stay-at-home-mom. Best job in the world? Yes. Harder than I ever imagined? 100%.  We’ve always said I’ll resurrect my career when Kawika retires from the Navy. But then, in a moment of enlightenment, I decided to stop waiting for this adventure to end and the next to begin. I realized that who I am right now, and where I am in my life today matters! It doesn’t have to be one or the other- it can be both! I can carve out a space in our world to do something for myself- that fills my bucket!

And this brings me to where I am now. Looking for an outlet to share what I love doing… what makes me “me”… with others.

I find myself scrolling through pages of things that make me feel warm and cozy- on Etsy, Insta, Pinterest, Facebook.. I’ve built pages on each of these that I visit often just because they make me happy. I find joy in designing warm, inviting spaces. Creating unique, meaningful gifts for others. Hosting friends and family. Planning events both big and small. Over the years, I’ve found my love for these things naturally pours out and into others. I’ve become the go-to-girl for my friends and family, and have discovered the only thing better than flexing my creative bone, is helping others flex theirs too!

I’m so glad you landed here Your being here is allowing me to dream this new dream and reach these new goals! I can’t wait to”meet” and get to know everyone who stops by! Xo!
